Children's Jiu-Jitsu Program

Eligibility: Children ages 5-12
Uniform: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Judo Kimono

At Fight Zone USA, we believe that every person has unlimited potential. Children from ages 5-12 are able to harness that potential in a fun, positive, and educational environment. From calisthenics to self defense, our children's program teaches everything your child needs to become a confident adult.

Goals of the Fight Zone USA Kids Jiu-Jitsu Program:

To teach our students the priceless skills of self-defense
To encourage future success through discipline, goal setting, and communication.
To bestow on our students the value of exercise and camaraderie.
For all our students to become respectful and self confident individuals.

Young Adult's Jiu-Jitsu Program

Eligibility: Young Adults ages 13-17
Uniform: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Judo Kimono

Young adulthood is possibly one of the most challenging times in an individual's life. Here, we pride ourselves in mentoring our students through this tough time and leading by example. Our instructors are positive role models that can encourage young adults to get in shape, build self-confidence, and teach important lessons that last a lifetime.

Goals of the Fight Zone USA Young Adults Jiu-Jitsu Program:

To serve as a bridge between the kids jiu-jitsu program to the adult jiu-jitsu programs.
To challenge our young adults as they enter this most critical phase in their lives.
To mentor each student and serve as a positive guide towards future success.
To provide a positive outlet for socialization, fitness, and self defense.
To teach the values of respect, self discipline, and integrity.

Mastering Jiu-Jitsu Program

Eligibility: All Adult Students
Uniform: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Judo Kimono

Goals of the Fight Zone USA Mastering Jiu-Jitsu Program:

To expose our students to the Vieira Bros techniques and teaching methods.
To challenge our students to become master level grapplers and jiu-jitsu specialists.
To adapt the lessons into each student's individual game plan.
To give our students all of the tools for success in competition and in life.
To prepare our students to become instructors in the Vieira Bros method.

Competition Tactics Jiu-Jitsu Program

Eligibility: All Adult Students
Uniform: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Judo Kimono

Goals of the Fight Zone USA Competition Tactics Jiu-Jitsu Program:

To prepare our students for the rules and strategies of competitive level grappling.
To prepare our students for the physical demands of multiple matches.
To allow our students the freedom to showcase their individual grappling styles within the academy.
To prepare our students for success in competition.
To teach sportsmanship and humility for all competitors.

No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Program

Eligibility: All Adult Students
Uniform: Rash guard or T-shirt with boardshorts or gi pants

Goals of the Fight Zone USA No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Program:

To adapt the kimono techniques from the Mastering Jiu-Jitsu class to a gi-less environment.
To showcase the proper controls, transitions, and strategies to be successful in gi-less competition.
To balance out our students skills and create more well-rounded martial artists.
To serve as a bridge into mixed martial arts and other forms of competition.
To further confidence in dealing with diverse real world self defense situations.

Judo Program

Eligibility: All adult students
Uniform: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Judo Kimono

Goals of the Fight Zone USA Judo Program:

To prepare our students for the rules and strategies of USA Judo.
To teach the basics of moving, falling, and throwing in a controlled and safe environment.
To minimize the fear associated with high level judo.
To develop more lucid and fluid A-level grapplers.
